Pickup Truck Attempting to Pass on Shoulder Causes Deadly Truck Cruash Near Slidell Louisiana.

The Pickup Struck Two Semi Trucks Before One of the Commercial Trucks Crashed Over a Bridge and into a River in Interstate 10.

The driver who died has been identified as Steven Shawn Clark, 26, of Theodore, Alabama. Lousiana State Police said the driver died of injuries from the truck accident. The accident occurred on November 3rd at around 9:30 pm. Lousiana authorities shut down both directions of I-10 while the crash was investigated.

Slidel LA is approximately 33 miles north and east of New Orleans.

The accident remains under investigation by the Louisiana State Police.
