Semi Truck and School Bus Crash on I95 in  Flagler County Florida.

The big rig failed to stop causing a chain reaction involving old school buses.

The Florida Highway Patrol, reported that a multiple vehicle crash involving 3 old school buses and one tractor-trailer happened on northbound I-95 near Palm Coast Parkway around 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015. The accident scene was approximately 65 miles south of Jacksonville FL.

One of the old school buses was towing a second bus which was followed by a third. The first bus sustained mechanical problems and stopped in the right traffic lane. The third school bus then stopped behind the bus being towed.

The semi which was also traveling north on I-95 in the right lane failed to stop behind the third bus causing a chain reaction involving all of the school buses.

A pedestrian who was nearby at the time of the crash became trapped in the wreckage and was seriously injured.

The Florida Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the accident.
