The Bay City Police Department, TX Was Authorized to Submit a Grant Application for Mobile Forensics Software.

Bay City Texas in the Matagorda County of TX has submitted a grant application to allow the Sherriff's office to extract and analyze mobile devices for forensics evidence. Matagorda county law enforcement officers had to go to Brazoria TX, Fort Bend TX or Harris County Texas to retrieve cell phone data. This process is time-consuming and inefficient. Bay City Texas Police Department also needs the mobile device forensics capability. The city would rely on the Matagorda TX Sheriff’s office for these services.
