Six Hurt, Two Critically, 23 Vehicle Pile Up Near Mount Vernon, WA.

The Double Dump Truck Crossed the Median and Crashed into Stopped Traffic.

A dump truck full of gravel and clay plowed into vechicles which were stopped for an invesitgation into a shooting on I-5. The shooting on I-5 involved a fatality.

The accident happened on Saturday July 18, 2015. The truck crash caused both directions of I-5 to be closed by the Washington State Department of Transportation while the accident was being investigated. Six people were  taken to the Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon Washington, two of the victims were later flown to the Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA. Another of the injured was taken to PeaceHealth United General Medical Center in Sedro-Woolley, WA, said Washington State Patrol Troopers.
